Dear Hall,

Thank you for your letter 54447/5/51 of 10th July, together (5) with Appendix "" to the Governor's Dispatch of 10th April, 1947,

concerning the Hong Kong Government's claim.

What we hoped Appendix "E" would shew was particulars of the disbursement of the £105,000. Our request for this information I think you must agree is not unreasonable particularly as Hong Kong are so definite that this amount was actually spent. We feel it would be a fairly simple matter for details to be produced.

Would you therefore be good enough to refer this matter to the Hong Kong Government again asking them to provide such additional figures as are available from their records, to show the actual payments made.

fours sincerely,

Capt Hamilia 44.
